It�s my understanding the role of Church has not yet been finalized but it could be very interesting so stay tuned. Mickey Rourke is definitely an Expendable and works in about 10 days. 90% of the cast will arrive in NoLa this coming weekend and we start shooting on the 11th. having everyone on set next week will I�m sure cause me to become apoplectic�I mean seriously folks�Sly, Jason, Jet, Terry, Dolph, Randy, Mickey�

Can you talk a little bit about The Expendables that you have coming out? Have you wrapped on that?

Dolph Lundgren: No, we're about halfway through. Most of my stuff is still left. I've done a couple of scenes and it's a pleasure working with Stallone again. He's a very experienced guy. You know, I direct myself, so I appreciate his advice because I can pass it on. Few people have more experience than him, a lead in a big action movie. I mean, how many big movies has he done in his career? Maybe 30? Big studio pictures? That was fun, so now that I get to suck up his advice and it's really fun for me. It's a pleasure. It's a really good character for me too. I'm the outcast-of-the-family sort of thing. I go back and forth between the good family and the bad guys, so there's a lot of great stuff and certainly a lot of action.

So, your character plays both sides then?

Dolph Lundgren: Yeah. I get to play both good and bad. It's a little crazy. He's a guy with a heart, and Stallone is no friend of his in the movie. He was my old buddy and we end up parting ways, it gets ugly and there's sort of a surprise. You'll see.

IGN: You've been making action films for more than 20 years now. How has the experience changed from when you first began? Do you still have as much fun with the genre as you get older?

LUNDGREN: I have fun in different ways. When I'm directing, I have fun because it's stimulating, because you're creating a reality, a parallel world where these characters live. And you live in that world; you sleep and you dream and you talk to people there. When you're acting, it's more piecemeal. You just have to be in the moment, whether you're being mean or being good. It beats pumping gas, for sure! I have more fun when I play someone who's bad. On this movie, The Expendables, I've got a bad attitude. He's not a bad guy ďż˝ he's got a good heart ďż˝ but he's high-strung and dangerous. I go between being good and being bad, so I have both, which is cool. Playing a villain, if it's a well-written role, is more fun than playing a hero. With a hero, you have to be likeable at all times, but I think that having an attitude is something that comes to me easier than playing it straight.

IGN: You mentioned The Expendables, which really is a tribute to the kind of character that you and Stallone and Arnold really perfected in the '80s and '90s. How has it been working on that project?

LUNDGREN: It's a kick. It's the biggest movie I've worked on. And I realized the other day that I think it's the biggest movie that Sly's worked on, too. I don't think there's anybody who's made more big action movies than he has. He has a lot of experience and he's great to work with as a director because he knows. He knows what works and what doesn't work and how to make it all look great. But the actual feeling on set is excitement, especially when everybody is there. There's one scene toward the end of the film where everybody's there ďż˝ Mickey Rourke and Stallone and Jet Li and Jason Statham and Randy Couture and Eric Roberts. You see all those chairs lined up, like in those old pictures at MGM where they'd line up all the stars, and I'm just pleased and honored to be one of the group. I think it's fun for everybody, even the younger guys.
